For more than 25 years, Don Mckeever has exclusively represented injured clients and their loved ones. His entire career has been devoted to representing people who have been wrongfully injured.
Don attended Memphis State University before transferring and graduating from Florida State University in 1979. He graduated in 1983 from Cumberland School of Law at Stamford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he received top awards in trial advocacy. He moved to Winter Park after graduating in from Law School, and in 1984 opened his own personal injury practice. For the next 13 years, he worked as a sole practitioner representing injury victims and their family members.
In 1997, he founded the law firm of Mckeever, Albert and Barth, which quickly expanded to seven attorneys litigating and trying lawsuits throughout Central Florida. After years of managing a high volume personal injury litigation practice, he established the Mckeever Law Firm in 2005. He now limits his practice to significant cases of personal injury or wrongful death.
Don Mckeever specializes in trial work and in the last 25 years has gone to trial in more than 50 cases involving personal injury or wrongful death. In 1994, he obtained a verdict in excess of Nine Million Dollars, which was one of the highest personal injury verdicts in the history of Orange County.
Don Mckeever is admitted to all Courts in the State of Florida, including the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Florida Bar, The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
Don is married to Suzanne, his wife of 25 years. They live in Winter Park and have one child, Joseph, who is in the fourth grade at St. Margaret Mary Catholic School.
